Announcement of Co-hosted Workshop
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation in FBN Japan’s activities.
We would like to invite Mr. Kenjin Tatsuma, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatsuma Honke Shuzo, a sake brewer in Hyogo Prefecture, to speak at our co-hosted workshop with the 100-Year Management Research Organization (100-Year Management Study Group).
Tatsuma Honke Shuzo was founded in 1662 and is known throughout Japan for its famous sake brand “Hakusika” as its main brand. In addition to the production and sale of sake and other alcoholic beverages, the company is also involved in the operation of a school corporation.
Mr. Kenjin Tatsuma had been the 16th generation representative of the company since 2006, and took the opportunity of the Corona to succeed to the business. In this workshop, we will hear about the background and the process of business succession in the Corona disaster, in addition to the 350-year history of the company, through a conversation with Mr. Goto, President of the 100-year Management Research Institute.

Mr. Kenji TATSUMA
Tatsuma Honke Shuzo Co., Ltd. produces Shiraga in Nada-Gogo, the world’s largest sake production area in Hyogo Prefecture. The company focuses on passing on the culture of Japanese sake and on educational and cultural projects. The second son of the 15th generation head of the Tatsuma family.
Born in May 1971.

April 1994 Joined Sanwa Bank, Ltd.
April 1999 Joined Tatsuma Honke Sake Brewery Co.
June 2006 Appointed President and Representative Director
April 2020 Appointed Chairman of the Board
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chitose Gakuen Matsushu Kindergarten, a member of the Tatsuma Group, and a member of the Board of Directors of Tatsuma Ikueikai Koyo Gakuin Junior and Senior High School.
